Biographical Note
Texas Highways is a monthly magazine published by the Texas Department of
Transportation. The two-part article, “World War II: Home-Front Memories,” edited by
Randy Mallory for the November and December 2005 issues of Texas Highways,
highlights readers’ recollections of how Texas mobilized for war and supported the
troops.
