			<p>Mrs. Marcelle Lively Hamer (1900-1974) earned a master’s degree from the University
				of Texas at Austin in 1939. She served as head of the University of Texas Library’s
				Texas Collection and in several positions for the Texas Folklore Society.</p>

				Mansion, its state of repair, and sketches of its furniture. </p>
