Tim Finn (b. 1838?) first shipped off to sea from New York at the age of 16. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Civil War and later settled in Galveston, Texas.
The Autobiography of Tim Finn, 1854-1896, documents Finn’s naval career, including service in the U. S. Navy during the Civil War, from its beginning and his later settlement in Galveston, Texas.
This collection is open for research use.
