		  Los Angeles office of Sony Computer Entertainment, where he accumulated the
		  materials in these papers as part of his job.</p>

		<head>Scope and Contents</head> 
		<p>Materials document variety and extent of marketing efforts conducted
		  by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). All materials in this collection were
		  used for promotional purposes and then discarded; they were never sold in
		  stores. The game titles represented were all developed by SCE exclusively for
		  the Sony PlayStation 2 or 3 consoles, as well as the PlayStation Portable (PSP)
		  platform. The marketing materials included in the papers direct their messages
		  to two distinct audiences: the consumer and the retailers who sell the games to
		  the consumers. Materials directed toward the consumer were to be placed at the
		  “point of purchase” by the retailer.</p>
