A Guide to the Tuke Family Photograph Albums, ca. 1880-1900
Historical NoteThe albums were donated to the Texas Memorial Museum by L. Tuke in 1962. They were accessioned by the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History in 1989. Scope and ContentsThe collection consists of two photo albums containing approximately 100 total images. The photographs are cabinet cards, cartes de visite, and tintypes. Very few of the photographs have obvious dating or identification, but such information may appear on the backs of the photographs. RestrictionsAccess RestrictionsUnrestricted access.
