Biographical NoteDavid E. Sponberg (1901-1984) was born in Elgin, Texas. He attended Texas A & M University and worked for the Secretary of State’s Office as a franchise auditor and also in the state comptroller’s office. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and ContentsCollection consists primarily of images of wildflowers and some birds, mainly from the Big Thicket and Big Bend areas, with one set of images from Lake Louise in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.
