The book was published in 1976. Scope and ContentsThe Journey from Ignorant Ridge Collection, 1975-1977, includes manuscripts, research notes, notes concerning printing, contributors’ information, copyright permission requests, galley proofs, photocopied documents, a cassette tape, illustrations, and photographs. The materials document personal remembrances of early schools in Texas by students and teachers, and relate to the history of education in Texas as well as to the completion of the project and the publication of the book.
