			<p>John T. Davis is a music journalist, who focuses primarily on music, music
				personalities, and culture in Texas and the Southwest. His work has appeared in the
					<emph render="italic">Austin-American Statesman</emph>, the <emph
					render="italic">Austin Chronicle</emph>, <emph render="italic">Texas
					Monthly</emph>, <emph render="italic">Austin Monthly</emph>, <emph
					render="italic">Texas Highways</emph>, <emph render="italic">San Antonio</emph>
				magazine, <emph render="italic">Billboard</emph>, and <emph render="italic"
					>Newsday</emph>. Furthermore, he appeared in the documentary film, <emph
					render="italic">Lubbock Lights</emph>. He authored the book <emph
					render="italic">Austin City Limits: 25 Years of American Music</emph> and
				assisted in the preparation of other books, including a biography of Jerry Jeff
				Walker and a travel guide to Texas. </p>
