Barron Field, also known as Taliaferro Number 3, was a World War I training facility for Canadian pilots a half mile west of Everman in southeastern Tarrant County. The field was closed about 1921 and reverted to farmland with the exception of one building with a historical marker that was maintained by a local garden club. The original owner of these photographs, Harriet Hartford, was a nurse at Barron Field from 1918 to 1919.
