The James H. Collett papers, 1810-1901, 1928, 1950, concern Collett’s transactions as a land agent and attorney. The papers include correspondence, legal documents, memoranda, deeds, field notes, receipts, bills of sale, abstracts, bank books, record book, account papers, newspaper clippings, 25 plats and maps of Texas counties, and two plats of Austin, that have been separated to the Map Collection.
