		<p>This collection consists of images taken by Weldon Wayne Rogers of
		  Austin and the University of Texas campus in the 1940s. It includes many views
		  of the UT tower and other buildings, the state capitol and Congress Avenue, as
		  well as the Homer Rainey protest and a UT Round-up parade. Many images appear
		  to have been taken from a car window; the donor is the daughter of the
		  photographer and said that her father was visited by an old girlfriend with a
		  car that they drove around in while he snapped pictures. In addition to the
		  Austin scenes are several views of Fair Park in Dallas.</p><!--If
