A Guide to the Eric Warren Photograph Collection, ca. 1895-1937
Historical NoteBill Elliot collected these photos while he was secretary for Sen. Richard Kleberg. They made their way to Eric Warren who donated them to the Briscoe Center. All but two are copy prints and the location of the originals is unknown. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and ContentsCollection consists of photographs of the Corpus Christi, Brownsville, Rockport and Port Aransas harbors and shores. Includes wharves and fishing boats, as well as one steamboat on the Rio Grande. One of the copy prints is a close-up of Franklin Roosevelt with fishing guide Barney Farley in 1937.
