A Guide to the Henry Belin DuPont Photographs, ca. 1930-1947
Henry Belin DuPont (1898-1970) was an amateur photographer and the vice present of E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. During the 1930s and 40s he made aerial and boat trips to the Big Bend Region of Texas.
This collection includes aerial and ground photographs of the Big Bend Region of Texas, especially along the Rio Grande border with Mexico. Taken during trips to the region in the 1930s, 1941, 1946 and 1947, these photographs may have been displayed at an October 1952 meeting in Houston of the American Association for State and Local History and may have been acquired at that time.
