Biographical NoteBorn in Kansas in 1905, Glenn Dooley moved with his family to Texas in 1910. He taught chemistry in various universities and colleges until his retirement in 1970. In addition to teaching he was involved in genealogy, which led to his interest in county courthouses and other places of historical importance. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and ContentsPublic buildings in Texas, primarily county courthouses and the state capitol, are the major focus of this collection. Also included are images of bridges, rivers, riverboats, and stadiums, one photograph of the Alamo, and scenic views of Mexico.
