A Guide to the Frank J. Schlueter Photographs, 1909-1913.
Scope and ContentsCompilation of photographs by Frank J. Schlueter (1874? – 1972), a Houston commercial photographer, purportedly used to promote Texas City around the time of its incorporation in 1911. Images include ships being loaded, warehouses, city views and unidentified views of military camps. Also contains newspaper clippings about Texas City.
