		<head>Biographical Note</head><p>Born in Newark New Jersey in 1938, Tice
		  trained as a photographer in the Navy and worked in portrait photography until
		  his interest shifted to the urban landscape. Tice is a virtuoso fine art
		  printer. His work is held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the
		  Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Art institute of Chicago. He has received
		  numerous fellowships and commissions, including the Guggenheim Foundation and
		  the National Endowment for the Arts.</p>
