		<head>Biographical Note</head><p>Mabry J. Norrell was born September 8,
		  1881 in Burnet, Texas. He worked as a schoolteacher, bank cashier and
		  postmaster before being hired as manager of the Magnolia Petroleum Company’s
		  industrial relations department. Mabry was later promoted to Secretary of the
		  company and held that position until his retirement in 1947. Mabry died
		  December 26, 1961.</p>
