Biographical NoteMaidel Baker was a 1912 graduate of the University of Texas, who toured Europe in 1913. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and ContentsPostcards, photographs, and correspondence document Maidel Baker’s 1913 tour of Europe, which included England, Scotland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Greece. Maidel Baker corresponded mostly with her family, especially her sister and mother. The papers also contain photocopies and typed transcripts of the original letters.
