	 <head>Biographical Note</head><p>Fred Ebner was born in Wichita Falls,
		Texas in 1924. He came to Austin in 1942 to attend the University of Texas,
		where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Government. He later received a master’s
		degree in Political Science from Yale University. Fred Ebner was twice elected
		to serve as the Republican precinct chair for Texas Precinct 441, was a member
		of the Log Cabin Republicans, and ran unsuccessfully for Texas State
		Representative for District 51 in 1998.</p>
