		<p>Scrapbook photograph album containing albumen and gelatin prints and
		  cyanotypes documents parts of 
		  <geogname>Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama</geogname> around the turn
		  of the century. The album emphasizes African- Americans at work and in school.
		  Included are photographs of whites and blacks together, nature scenes, historic
		  buildings and homes, street scenes and farms. Some identified places are 
		  <geogname>Jackson, Vicksburg, Tougaloo, Robinson's Springs and
			 Robinsons Plantation, Mississippi; Taladoga, Alabama; and East Tennessee's
			 Cumberland Plateau.</geogname> Two persons, Burton and Mary Humphrey Adams, are
		  identified. </p>
