A Guide to the Fisher (Lewis) Photographs, ca. 1902

Scope and Contents

Images of University of Texas buildings and scenes, the Texas state capitol, and landscapes around Austin. Included is a photograph of prohibitionist Carrie Nation with a group of young men, probably taken during her 1902 visit to the University of Texas. A few images are unidentified. Lewis Fisher purchased the photographs from the estate of Henry Burney
