		<head>Creator Sketch:</head><p>Arthur Rothstein (1915-1985) was LOOK’s
		  technical director for photography from 1947 to 1971. He gained early fame as a
		  member of the Farm Security Administration team of photographers in the 1930s.
		  This image was a product of 13 years of research and development by Rothstein
		  and Marvin Whitmore, general manager of LOOK.</p>

		<head>Scope and Contents:</head><p>This photographic reproduction is
		  called a parallax panoramagram—the first three-dimensional photograph ever
		  produced in mass quantities. It appears to have been an insert in the magazine.
		  The subject is a bust of Thomas Edison surrounded by five of his inventions:
		  the electric lamp, the stock sticker, the home motion picture projector, the
		  phonograph, and the fluoroscope.</p>
