	 <head>Scope and Contents</head><p>The papers consist of a photostat of a
		diary and memorandum book containing information about the Presbyterian General
		Assembly in 1852 as well as Civil War muster rolls and various financial,
		military, agricultural, and medical information. Also included are two copies
		of a transcription of letters and historical narratives primarily dealing with
		the Battle of the Salado (1842).</p>
