Scope and ContentsCorrespondence and legal papers document the business affairs of William and E.H. Bay. Included are a list of E.H. Bay's objections to Edward Turner's claims in a financial dispute; a letter concerning power of attorney for Turner; an agreement transferring all of William Bay's interest in the Bay & Grant drugstore, Vicksburg, Mississippi, to George W. Grant; and a copy of an 1807 letter outlining land grant policy for the Mississippi Territory in response to a land dispute between William Grant and the John Turnbull family.
