Biographical NoteDavid Ayres was a merchant in Texas, 1832-1847, when he became a deputy United States Marshal in Galveston. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and ContentsPapers consist of a draft of indenture, April 1855, between David Ayers and David Theodore Ayers to retire the debts of David Ayers; and a deposition by David Ayers, April 13, 1855, in his court suit against the estate of Henry Hubbell for recovery of debts.
