Biographical Note

Dr. Stanley Arbingast (1910-2005) was a professor of marketing and resources in the College of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. With an educational background in geography and resources, Arbingast additionally served as director of the Bureau of Business Research from 1969 to 1975. He edited the Texas Business Review and the Atlas of Texas series published by the Bureau. Dr. Arbingast was awarded membership in The Hall of Fame of The College of Business Administration, and also served a term as president of the Retired Faculty Association of The University of Texas at Austin.
