The bulk of the material consists of
obituaries, arranged alphabetically by the surname of the deceased, which were
clipped from various Aransas County newspapers. Some clippings are pasted on
pages with others and therefore out of order. Also included are newspaper
clippings about other events in Aransas County, arranged chronologically, and
short reports written about Aransas County cities and notable sites, arranged
alphabetically by place. Most of the material is dated in the range 1930-1940,
with one copy of a document from 1851.
