Scope and ContentsDiary in Spanish of Azlor y Virto de Vera, Marquis de Aguayo (1677-1734), a photostatic copy of the original in the San Francisco Archives of the National Library, Mexico City, contains Aguayo's account of his expedition to Texas (1720-1722) to reoccupy the East Texas missions and presidios that had been abandoned during the French invasion in 1719. Second item is Frederick C. Chabot's sketch of the Aguayo family, containing an account of the Texas expedition in addition to the family genealogy.
