Biographical Note

Adams was editor of Texas Druggist magazine for 20 years (1922-1942) and served as president of the Texas Pharmaceutical Association and the American Pharmaceutical Association.


Scope and Contents

Papers concern the career of pharmacist Adams (1872-1961), a prominent leader in his profession who was active in state and national politics and in the promotion of higher education in Texas. Adams’s interest in local and family history is also reflected in the papers.
