Scope and ContentsScenes of training activities and camp life of a Wisconsin National Guard unit at Camp Wilson (adjacent to Fort Sam Houston in Bexar County) in 1916. The unit was likely part of the National Guard mobilization ordered by President Wilson in June 1916 as a response to border problems with Mexico. Contains views of Landa Park in New Braunfels, Austin cityscapes, mills and gins, and camps made by the unit while on maneuvers.
