singer, trained by Charlotte Macondie, who performed throughout Texas and in
New York City during the 1930s.
Collection contains correspondence,
performance programs, sheet music, and newspaper clippings documenting Daisy
Elgin’s career as a soprano singer. Also included is an oral history interview
with Mary Alice Elgin, Daisy’s sister.
