A Guide to the Bert Crews Austin Punk Music Collection, 1978-1979

Bert Crews was a member of the late 1970’s Austin, Texas punk band, Reversible Cords (known as the Re*Cords). Fellow band members included Doug McAninch, Tom Huckabee, and Lin (Lynn) Miller.

Scope and Contents:

Collection contains concert handbills and posters, photographs, clippings, tickets, and issues of punk music fanzines, Sluggo and Austin Vanguard. The bulk of the collection documents local Austin punk band, the Reversible Cords (known as the Re*Cords). Other bands represented are the Huns and the Chickadiesels.
