Creator Sketch:John E. Sunder, Ph.D., is a professor emeritus in the Department of History at the University of Texas at Austin. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and Contents:Collection consists of 167 35 mm color slides of Texas subjects including San Antonio Hemisfair, Alamo and missions, Big Bend, LBJ boyhood home in Johnson City, Port Isabel, Port Aransas, Washington-on-the-Brazos, Fort McKavett, McDonald Observatory, Big Thicket, Fort Richardson State Historic Site, Winedale, Goliad and La Bahia Chapel, Pecos River Bridge, Fort Concho, Sam Houston House in Huntsville, Fort Griffin State Park, Fort Parker, Nacogdoches, and various other monuments and historic sites in Texas.
