The creator, Connie Moore, was a student in Professor J. B. Colson's photojournalism class at the University of Texas at Austin. She gave the photographs from this class assignment to Professor Colson, who subsequently donated them to the Center for American History.

 Scope and Contents

The collection consists of images of acclaimed photographer Walker Evans made during Evans' one-week visit to the Photojournalism and Fine Arts departments and the University of Texas at Austin in 1974.
