	 <p>Mary Ragland captures the quilt-making history of her mother and other
		family members in the book <emph render="italic">Grandma's Quilts: Quilts Made
		or Collected by Fannie Elmira Reeder Rudolph, 1895-1991, and
		Descendants</emph>. The book includes color photographs of many of the quilts,
		as well as detailed descriptions of each quilt's history, style, materials, and
		techniques. </p>

  <bioghist> 
	 <head>Biographical Note</head><p>Fannie Elmira Reeder Rudolph lived and
		worked on a farm near Fort Collins, Colorado. Quilt-making was an important
		part of her family life, and was passed along to other family members including
		daughter Mary Ragland. Ms. Rudolph practiced scrap quilting, using only fabric
		scraps in her work rather than purchasing fabric.</p>
