Collection of fifteen original newspaper articles from Laredos, all researched and written by Robert Mendoza.

Topics include the murder of Mexican General Lucio Blanco (1922), the Prohibition-era bootlegger murder of Captain Charles Stevens (1929), a bibliography of Catarino Garza and Captain John Gregory Bourke, the Plan de San Diego (1915-1916), the death of Jesse Moseley (1916), biography of Allen Walker, and the Exchange Hotel and railroads in Laredo. Also, pieces on Colonel Patricio G. Mendoza (1915), Emiliano Zapata and Jesus Guajardo, George "Gavo" Ochoa's murder of Henry G.
