	 <head>Biographical Note</head><p>Melvin Henriksen earned his Ph.D. in 1951
		from the University of Wisconsin under the advisement of R. H. Bruck and
		William Eberlein. Henriksen was a Professor of Mathematics at
		Harvey Mudd College from 1969 to 1997. He died in 2009.</p>
