			<p>The hour-long Austin cable access show, <emph render="italic">Women’s News
					Hour</emph>, showcased women’s topics and women’s activities in current affairs
				throughout Austin and the world. Shows often focused on interviews conducted by
				Frieda Werden or lectures taped by Anne Merrill. Furthermore, an all-women crew
				generated the program, and the producers were associates of WINGS: Women’s
				International News Gathering Service, a production company co-founded by Werden.</p>

			<p>The <emph render="italic">Women’s News Hour</emph> Videotapes, 1999-2002, contain
				nine VHS, twenty-one Hi8 ProMP, eighteen DVCAM, and twenty-two U-matic
				videocassettes of the Austin cable access television show, <emph render="italic"
					>Women’s News Hour</emph>. The episodes feature local and global women’s issues
				and current affairs, lectures taped by Anne Merrill, and interviews conducted by
				Frieda Werden of international and local female activists, feminists, authors, and
				others, such as Vandana Shiva.</p>
