			<p>In 2002, the University of Texas at Austin’s Center for American History (now the
				Dolph Briscoe Center for American History) and Division of Continuing Education
				sponsored a documentary project on the history of longhorn cattle. The University partnered with
				Alpheus Media to shoot footage of interviews with Texas ranchers. </p>

			<p>The Texas Longhorn Cattle Video Oral History Collection, 2002, contains Betacam and
				VHS videotapes, regarding the history of longhorn cattle in Texas and the
				experiences of ranchers, who raise and trade cattle. The videotapes include
				interviews with Texas ranchers, such as Fayette Yates, Lawrence Wallace, and Maudeen
				Marks, as well as footage of longhorn cattle, ranch brands, and ranching activities.
