Biographical Note

Henderson completed his doctorate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1964 under the direction of R. H. Bing, and went on to teach at Cornell University. His research interests include geometric topology and mathematics education.


Scope and Contents

This collection consists of the mathematics course notes taken by David Henderson while a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, ca. 1961-1964. Most of the courses were in topology. Also includes one photograph (electronic printout) of a wedding group, ca. 1900 with connections to American mathematics.
