Biographical Note
William Graham (1841-1925) was a successful cattleman in Menard and
Kimble counties in Texas, at one time owning over five-thousand acres. In 1903
Graham moved to the New Mexico Territory and retired there with his family.
Scope and Contents
This brand book was created by William Graham and covers transactions
from Fort Concho, Camp Colorado, Brownwood and Llano from the period of 1868 to
1876. The book includes formal longhorn cattle herd summaries with brands,
ear-marks and the ages of animals noted, as well as informal lists and legal
documents.
