Navy during World War II, operator of a marina and marine repairs shop, distributor of pleasure boats, and investor in oil leases and farm land. Included are correspondence, legal and financial records, news releases and newspaper clippings, reports, ledgers, payroll records, maps, abstracts, blueprints, catalogs, awards, and photographs. Blueprints and photographs primarily relate to Rice's boat manufacturing and distribution.
