Scope and ContentsThe Reinbach Family Papers consist primarily of correspondence (1809-1810) between Johann Heinrich von Reinbach and Francisca von Dorsten, prior to their marriage in 1810. Also included are legal documents pertaining to Reinbach's career as a lawyer in Germany, the marriage of Johann and Francisca Reinbach, and the birth of their children, Johanna and Maximillian, as well as letters to Maximillian from his sister and nieces, after his emigration to Texas.
