Abstract: |
Collection consists of diaries, photographs, motion pictures,
newspaper clippings and scrapbooks documenting the lives of Jack Sidney, Sr.,
and his wife Irene Sarli and their son Jack, Jr. Jack , Sr., and Irene Sidney
were vaudeville performers. Jack Sidney, Sr., managed USO shows from 1944 to
1947. Jack Sidney, Jr., is a touring show manager and president of the Jack
Sidney Organization Inc. The bulk of the collection documents his management of
family touring shows. Forms part of the Touring Entertainment Industry
Archive. |

from 1908 until 1942. Jack Sidney, Sr., managed USO shows from 1944 to 1947.
Jack Sidney, Jr., is a touring show manager and president of the Jack Sidney
Organization Inc., specializing in entertainment management, advertising,
publicity and promotion.
Collection consists of diaries, photographs, motion pictures,
newspaper clippings and scrapbooks documenting the lives of Jack Sidney, Sr.,
and his wife Irene Sarli and their son Jack, Jr. The bulk of the collection
documents the management by Jack Sidney, Jr., of family touring shows such as
Disney on Parade and the Ice Capades.
