Scope and Contents

The collection consists of graduation commencement announcements from 1927 and 1928 for Desdemona High School, a certificate signed by Governor Miriam A. Ferguson appointing a notary public for Hunt County in 1927, and a Missouri Pacific Lines wallet calendar for 1961. There are two illustrated undated and unused railroad tickets, one for the Rock Island Line and the other for the Texas and Pacific Railway Route of the Eagles. Finally, there is a mimeographed letter from J. Frank Norris of the First Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, dated in December 1932.
