Papers contain photocopies of letters, military documents, and newspaper clippings. Materials are primarily military correspondence and documents such as special orders, abstracts, vouchers, rolls, and lists of prisoners and deserters. The letters and orders are from various officers, but especially Major James Burnet, and Captain E. J. Shelton.
