The I-T-E Imperial Corporation formed from a merger between the I-T-E Circuit Breaker Company based in Philadelphia, and the Imperial-Eastman Corporation based in Chicago. In March 1969, the new corporation opened a new assembly and distribution center in Dallas with R. Porter Lindsley, Jr., as its manager.
