Historical Note

The International Typographical Union, Local 188, was a local union of printers in Waco, Texas.


Scope and Contents

Records include minutes, financial records, and contracts. Minutes record and describe the proceedings of meetings held by Local 188 from 1933-1945 and include reports, resolutions, motions, and discussions of labor and wage issues. Financial records are comprised of a ledger of expenditures from 1910-1919. The records also include a Contract and Scale of Wages for Local 188 signed February 1943.
