Historical Note

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 69 is the Dallas local labor union of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers which was originally founded in 1891 in St. Louis, Missouri. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 69 is a local labor union located in Dallas, Texas. The IBEW Local 69 is affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers which received its original charter from the American Federation of Labor in 1891. The local Electrical Workers' Benefit Association stemmed from the establishment in 1946 of the National Electrical Benefit Fund. The Association's records cover 1957-1965.
