This collection is comprised of ledgers containing minutes, membership, and financial records of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Ladies Auxiliary Local 603 (Wichita Falls, Tex.); Local 977 (Wichita Falls, Tex.); Local 1706 (Vernon, Tex.); and Millmen's Local 2324 (Wichita Falls, Tex.) which voted to merge with Local 977 in June 1921. | |

UBC Locals represented in this collection include Ladies Auxiliary Local 603 (Wichita Falls, Tex.); Local 977 (Wichita Falls, Tex.); Local 1706 (Vernon, Tex.); and Millmen's Local 2324 (Wichita Falls, Tex.) which voted to merge with Local 977 in June 1921.
Scope and Contents
These are official records of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. The collection is primarily comprised of records of Local 977 including a membership book, 1906-1909; daybooks, 1906-1937; and minute books, 1921-1986. Records of other locals are: Ladies Auxiliary Local 603 (Wichita Falls, Tex.) minute book, 1950-1952; Local 1706 (Vernon, Tex.) minute book, 1955-1968; and Millmen's Local 2374 (Wichita Falls, Tex.) minute book, 1920-1921.
